PSI Comms team was in Omuta, a Japanese city in Fukuoka Prefecture, from May 22-24, to register the work done by members of ZENSHOKYO (the National Council of Japanese Firefighters and Ambulance Workers). PSI thanks all the 133 public sector workers based on the Omuta fire station for their warm “Omotenashi” (Japanese hospitality which literally means “to entertain guests wholeheartedly”). We would like to give special thanks also to Reina Aoki (a female paramedics whose story is going to be shared at our Congress) and to JICHIRO (All Japan Prefectural and Municipal Workers Union) for all their support.
